Trivium Prep is excited to announce the hiring of Scott Maynard as our Women's Varsity Basketball Head Coach. Coach Maynard comes to Trivium with an impressive 25 years of coaching experience, having worked at various levels, including coaching assignments with a grassroots AAU program, high school, and at the collegiate level. 

Before relocating to Arizona 4.5 years ago, he spent three years as an Assistant Coach for the Women’s Basketball D3 Program at Becker College in the Northeast. While at Becker College, the Women’s Basketball Team achieved an outstanding record, winning 60 games and losing only 34. In the 2018/19 season, the team secured the NECC Conference Championship and qualified for the Women’s D3 NCAA Tournament play. 

Personally, Coach Maynard and his wife, Robin, have been married for thirty years. They have five children—three boys and two girls—ranging in age from twenty-nine to seventeen.

One of Coach Maynard’s primary goals is to create an atmosphere within the women’s basketball program where the young ladies under his charge can combine their athletic and academic pursuits of excellence. His experience and dedication to each scholar-athlete will help them achieve their potential.
